SHifting perspectives

Branding | Concepts

Step into Shifting Perspectives, where design isn't just about shapes and colors—it's about stories, innovation, and a celebration of diverse designers. Look into our projects, as each tells a unique tale of the designer’s experience in the vibrant world of design. Join us in embracing the beauty of diversity and the endless possibilities that shifting perspectives bring to the table.

The branding project for the Texas State Communication Design Exit Review 2024, titled "Shifting Perspectives," tasked the committee with crafting branding guidelines for the online event. Our goal was to highlight the program's diversity, abilities, and unique journeys. We conceptualized strategies for the website, social media, and LinkedIn presence to showcase the dynamic narratives within the communication design community.

The Eyeball

The eyeball is a secondary icon for Shifting Perspectives. It represents the unique point of view each designer has.

Design Together

To showcase the perspective of more designers, we created two new campaigns that focus on sharing the unique design thoughts of the graduating class.

Within our program, we are encouraged to collaborate with our peers, providing us with valuable insights into teamwork. This prepares us not only for client interactions but also for collaboration with fellow design professionals in real-world scenarios. "Design Together" serves as a digital showcase of our collective efforts within group projects and the range of perspectives that come together to shape the outcome.

POV

As student designers, we all start with learning the basics. But as we grow within design, we find our niches and begin branching off into specializations. Now is the time where our views evolve, shift, and change. We tossed a question to our designers, aiming to capture their range of design perspectives.

Physical work

Enamel pins and Thank you cards were the only printed materials we created for this event in order to show our gratitude to our mentors, professors, and the designer’s hard work.
